Spicy Christmas Sour

Spicy and gourmet cocktail made with Pur Vodka, red port and cinnamon that will comfort your cold winter evenings.

  • 1 oz of Pur Vodka 
  • ⅔ oz of red Port
  • ⅔ oz of cinnamon syrup
  • 1 oz of fresh lemon juice 
  • 1 egg white
  • Garnish: candy cane (optional)

Cinnamon syrup:

  • 1 kg of sugar
  • 700 ml of water
  • 1 cinnamon stick

You will need

  • Highball glass
  • Shaker 
  • Cocktail strainer 
  • Cocktail sieve
  • Jigger
  • Ice
  • Saucepan



  • Add all ingredients to a shaker filled with ice.
  • Shake vigorously for 10 seconds.
  • Double strain through a cocktail strainer and sieve into a Highball glass filled with new ice.
  • Garnish with a candy cane (optional).

Cinnamon syrup:

  • In a saucepan, add all the ingredients and bring to a boil. 
  • Turn off the heat and let infuse for 1 hour. 
  • Strain and bottle. 
  • Keep refrigerated.
